Prof. (Adv.) Dipak G. Parmar is a seasoned expert in Intellectual Property Rights and Cyber Law with 25+ years of experience spanning academia, advisory roles, and corporate practice. He served as DPIIT IPR Chair Professor at Saurashtra University and has been a Visiting Faculty at Mumbai University, Asian School of Cyber Laws, and Pravin Gandhi College of Law.
He is recognized in IAM Strategy 300: The World’s Leading IP Strategists 2025 and has contributed as a Subject Matter Expert to Ernst & Young LLP for DPIIT’s Geographical Indication Scheme. He is empanelled as a mediator and neutral with leading national and international institutions including WIPO, PMAC (Unified Patent Court, EU), Bombay High Court, AALCO-HKRAC, IAMC Hyderabad, and others. He has mediated 82+ matters and delivered 29 domain dispute awards as a former NIXI Arbitrator and ADNDRC Panelist.
Prof. Parmar is also an author and frequent speaker on IP, ADR, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies. He is a Trade Mark Attorney, WIPO Neutral, MCPC-trained Mediator, Independent Director, and Founder of Cyber-IPR. His qualifications include LL.M. (International Law & Human Rights), B.Com., CS (Inter), Advanced Diploma in Cyber Law, PatentX, and the WIPO–Harvard Law School certification. He is currently pursuing Harvard Law School’s CopyrightX program.
